Wonderful property in a peaceful and stunning location. A real cook’s kitchen and the Aga was a pleasure to use. Gorgeous spaces to sit inside and out, and lovely walks straight out of the door. We can’t wait to come back.

Lovely cottage (not really a hall) in remote location. Poor drive access though over broken cattle grid. Lovely gardens. No mobile signal which we were not informed of beforehand. Very comfortable and set in beautiful countryside.

A stunning property – we have visited three times and will be back again. Beautiful location with break taking views, Hindlethwaite is absolutely perfect for families with children or dogs. I could spend all my time sitting in the garden with a glass of champagne just staring out at the hills and listening to the sheep.

Really well equipped and comfortable cottage, very clean, the housekeeper was helpful (the best one I have ever encountered.) I would recommend this cottage if you want a get away from it all experience, I think that a 4 wheel drive is essential for access to this property and this should be made clear before you decide to book. Loved the AGA!!!

The property and location are superb, and we really enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful part of the country. The house is well equipped and we especially loved cooking on the aga, and the two doggies had a field day in the large garden. The walks from the house are great, and there are so many lovely places to visit within a few miles
