Wonderful cottage in a stunning location. Beautiful house with great amenities (en suites in each room, washer and dryer, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable living rooms). The garden is paradise, comprised of lawn, sunken terrace and little walled garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would highly recommend this property for a home away from home in a gorgeous location. Many great hikes from the front door too!

We loved this place so much! The house is as beautiful as pictured and the grounds were also very nice! We loved that we felt cut off from the world there. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We did tons of walks right from the door! We really enjoyed the community owned pub, Forester Arms (approx. 2 miles away) and a nice walk! We feel like this place has spoiled us forever! We hope to be back in the future!

We’re looking forward to a return visit – this time in summer so we can spend more time in the lovely garden instead of by the fire.

Great house. We had a super week. The Dales are beautiful, plenty of places to visit, good eating options. Local pub, walking distance, was great fun with ok food. The garden was excellent for dogs although larger dogs could jump the wall so be careful especially as sheep around. Great red grouse viewings on Leyburn to Aysgath road in the heather.
